Cyprus house prices up 0.6% in August

Residential property prices rose month on month by 0.6% in August 2007,according to the hedonic BuySell Home Price Index. The BuySell Home Price Index reached 129.79 (+8.5% year-on-year) increasing the Average Home Price in Cyprus according to the index to CYP 101,119 (EUR 172,772). Home prices in Cyprus have thus continued to rise for an eighth consecutive month.
The BuySell Home Price Index was created and is updated monthly on behalf of BuySell Cyprus Real Estate by MFC S. Platis. ?he Index is announced during the second week of each month and depicts the movement of prices at which residential properties are sold in Cyprus, based on the extensive BuySell Cyprus Real Estate database.
