The fight over the public's input into the proposed Malta Community Center expansion goes another round Monday morning. The Town Board will vote at 8:30 a.m. in Town Hall on whether to accept a petition demanding a December referendum on its decision to expand the center.

Broad money (M3) continued to increase robustly, putting on Lm84.4 million, or 2.5 per cent, in August. As a result, its annual growth rate accelerated to 11.7 per cent from 10.0 per cent in the previous month. |
