Some female Ministers, on behalf of the Cameroonian woman, have extended a word of thanks to the regime in power for its continuous commitment to empower them and for appointing some of them to positions of decision-making. "We are rejoicing with you to have benefited one more time the confidence of the President of the Republic H.E. Paul Biya. On behalf of all women, I extend our acknowledgement and profound gratitude for this renewed attention for the Cameroonian woman.

The political vision of President Paul Biya, to recall, does not only honour those who are part of the government. It also honours all women of the country. From the number of motions of support which is the manifestation of the indefectible attachment by women, firstly for him who has understood the problems of women and has made them a priority in his political programme, secondly for the one by his side to support him in his daunting task, H. E. Madam Chantal Biya " these are the words of the Minister of Women Empowerment and the Promotion of the Family, Mrs. Suzanne Mbomback Nkolo, on the occasion of the celebration of the involvement of women in politics at the esplanade of the National Museum in Yaounde, Saturday, October 6.

At the thank you ceremony, the women promised their support for the greater achievement policy of the Head of State and for maintaining and promoting some of theirs into the government. The cause of jubilation and excitement was also Decree No 2007/269 of September 7, reorganising the Government of Cameroon, which did not only bring Ama Tutu Muna into the government as Minister of Culture but ensured increased women representation in the government. "This decree permits us to day to celebrate women, for two marked events; the maintenance and promotion in the government of women who are already part. This is sign that the Head of State has that concern for us," Mrs. Mbombock told the public who turned out the premises of the Museum.
