Govt to expand list of ailments covered by MBS Antigua and Barbuda receives major support from China
The government has given its assurance to the Antigua and Barbuda Pensioners Association (ABPA) that the list of common ailments covered by the Medical Benefits Scheme (MBS) will be expanded. Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer, the chairman of the Group of 77 (G77) and China at the United Nations (UN), recently accepted a cheque from the People’s Republic of China as its contribution towards the business of the grouping.

ST JOHN'S, Antigua: Barbudans are closer to receiving a brand new community centre to be constructed by China. Last weekend members of the Barbuda Council sat down with representatives of the Chinese government and Antigua and Barbuda's Ambassador to China to finalise the plans for the facility.
