Real estate news By Fiji Times

While the wrath of Cyclone Gene shut down financial services and banks across Fiji on Tuesday, four branches of the Colonial National Bank opened for business, offering limited services. Only Colonial National Bank branches in Lautoka, Savusavu, Levuka and Suva Central Branch stayed open until 3pm as other banks remained closed for the day.
Levuka branch manager, Louisa Uluinieva and her team of two staff members kept customers in the old capital happy with their service.
"For us here in Levuka this is only a storm in a tea cup and we're happy to help the local businesses and members of the public do their banking," she said. Colonial National Bank reported that the majority of its ATMs were operating but were subjected to continuity of normal or back-up power supply.
